  • What is Chiropractic?

    "Chiropractic is a primary health-care profession that specialises in the diagnosis, treatment and overall management of conditions that are due to problems with the joints, ligaments, tendons and nerves of the body, particularly those of the spine. Treatment consists of a wide range of manipulative techniques designed to improve the function of the joints, relieving pain and muscle spasm".

  • What do Chiropractors treat?

    Chiropractors assess how the body is mechanically functioning to find and then address problem areas, which are likely causing the pains. This is acheived through a range of manual therapy techniques as well as advice on exercises, stretches and other influencing lifestyle factors. 


    Common problem areas include: neck (including some types of headache), mid back, lower back, shoulder, hip and knee. However, chiropractors are trained to assess all joints and associated soft tissues in the body.

  • What do I wear?

    Ideally, wear clothing that is comfortable and fairly loose fitting. Shorts, t-shirts, strappy tops, gym clothes, joggers are all ok. Try and avoid tight restrictive jeans or short skirts.

  • How long does an appointment last?

    New patient consultatons last 45-60 minutes.

    Regular/Routine treatments last 25-30 minutes.

  • What do I do when I first arrive?

    When you first arrive, please have a seat in reception. Please try and arrive on time for your appointment as this will help keep the day running smoothly. Your chiropractor will then come and greet you. 

  • How long will it take to fix?

    Unfortunalty the vague answer is, it depends! There are multiple factors that will determine how quickly someone feels better, but this will be discussed with you once we begin to find the answer to some of these factors.


    We do hope that most patients, regardless of the above factors, will feel some degree of change/improvement with in about 4-6 sessions. Some will feel improvement immediatly where as others it will be more slowly.

  • What are the costs of treatment?

    New patient Consultation: £55

    Regular Treatment £38



  • What methods can I use to pay?

    We accept credit/debit cards - ideally using contactless at present


    We would prefer not to accept cash or cheques at this current time but we can do if it is your only option.

  • Are there risks to the treatments?

    With virtually all medical treatments there are risks and the selection of treatments offered by chiropractors is no different. The level of risk and possible side effects vary based on multpile factors. These will  be discussed with you.


    Overall, Chiropractic treatments are extremely safe.


    The most common risk/side effect is to feel sore or tender the next day, but only to the extent that you know you have had something done.


    The risk of serious side effects are extremely rare.

  • Will I be sore the next day?

    It is not uncommon to feel a little sore and tender the following day. This will depend on your presenting condition and the types of treatments that were done. This will be discussed with you prior to your treatment.

  • Is there parking on-site?

    Yes.
